A TITLE SEQUENCE
Cabaret is set in early-1930s Berlin as the Nazi Party begins rising to power. The story follows American singer Sally Bowles and reserved British academic Brian Roberts, whose complicated relationship unfolds amid the nightlife of the Kit Kat Klub and the growing political tension outside. As the characters chase love, freedom, and pleasure, the film contrasts the club’s glittering performances with the darker reality of a society sliding towards fascism.
